Wall Clock

+ DETAILS

This impressive wall clock comes in several materials: steel with hand etched numerals , charred NYC water tower wood or cast-concrete. The steel is laminated to a walnut-ply core, then spot heated with a blowtorch and painted with different black oxides to evoke a warm, vibrating depth to a commonly cold material. The wood finish is historic reclaimed cedar that is torched and sealed with oil. The high-torque clock motor runs on a single AA battery and adjusts automatically to daylight savings time in the US.

MATERIALS: cast-concrete, patinated steel, shou-sugi-ban cedar, Walnut
