A commission for a young family, the goals were to keep this table functional, playful and elegant. The table top is milled from solid Walnut wood featuring several Walnut inlays. In the center of the top an inset circle of patinated steel with a glass cover functions as a lazy susan. The concrete pedestal base is cast and then cracked through the center to create a "tunnel". The cracked interior is coated in a non-toxic rubber coating to allow for younger clients to safely crawl through.
